Ebay launches Winter Wardrobe collection

by Katie on November 8, 2011

Last Thursday evening, a plethora of bloggers gathered in a swanky rooftop suite in London’s glamorous W hotel to celebrate Ebay’s Winter Wardrobe collection styled by their Global Creative Director, Andrea Linett, known for editing Harpers Bazaar to co-founding Lucky magazine, and modeled by Jennifer from The Style Crusader and Sandra from 5inchandup blogs.
The 1970s James Bond type W Hotel room with revolving circular sofa and mirrored panels along the walls was filled with Ebay’s latest collection as well as one-off vintage finds and accessories. Ebay’s premise has always been exclusivity, individuality and style so to this gathered audience of well-versed Ebay scourers, this was a welcome playground.
As well as the wardrobe filled room, bloggers styled one off outfits for Ebay fuelled by flutes of Moet and canapes.

The Ebay Winter collection mixes the best from the high street with pieces from Therapy, Pied a Terre and Linea at House of Fraser, La Redoute, L.K. Bennett, Office and Love Label, to name a few (and with up to 70% off original RRPs).

Loose fit, wide leg camel trousers are paired with a stripe top and edge-to edge boucle jacket while a baggy knit, stripe wool dress has a silk black cardigan thrown over the top. Cable knits, jeans and faux fur jackets all figure in the collection which is wearable rather than stand-out. Adding your own style and a prize sourced vintage piece is a must to make them your own.
