Hong Kong Boutique JOYCE’s exclusive Eshop Christmas capsule collection

by Katie on December 5, 2011

Globally famous Hong Kong boutique JOYCE is used to pushing ideas and boundaries.

This Christmas, JOYCE will launch an E-Shop with a capsule collection of exclusive and limited edition products from five of JOYCE’s best-selling brands including The Row, Anthony Vaccarello, Thom Browne, Maison Michel and Alexander McQueen. Five per cent of the sales from these exclusive products will be donated to the Changing Young Lives Foundation.

To welcome the holiday season, JOYCE asked each label to create the ultimate party wardrobe featuring their signature styles. The fashion-forward and distinctive looks vary from classic suiting to fun head pieces, making them the ultimate style statement. All items are available exclusively on www.JOYCE.com
Chutzpah blog readers may be well versed in Alexander McQueen and house creative director, Sarah Burton (JOYCE collection images above), but not so au fait with the other labels. Famous for their ultra-chic and wearable wardrobe staples,The Row (a luxury apparel and accessories brand created by Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen) created a classic blazer and matching trousers featuring a leather lapel and waistband (below), and teamed with a leather trimmed scuba top. It’s an understated look with subtly cool details.
Paris-based fashion designer Anthony Vaccarello was inspired by the film “The Black Swan” and created four little black dresses that are far from boring. These wearable artworks stand apart from this traditional LBD and feature cut outs, patchwork, tailoring and drapes. Little Black dresses have never been so sexy, fierce and modern.
American designer Thom Browne spices up men’s formal wear with his own version of a “classic with a twist” suit. A tightly cut retro-inspired velvet jacket is teamed with a waistcoat, shirt, bow tie and leather boots. Women will look equally glamorous in a tailored flared jacket with a bubble mini-skirt that is both fashion-forward and ironic.
Maison Michel was founded by French milliner Auguste Michel in 1936, and is now owned by Chanel. Known for its intricate and delicate pieces, the house has designed haute couture creations for fashion labels such as Givenchy and Lanvin and is  renowned for its sought after head pieces including black lace rabbit ears, a cat-ear cap and veiled headbands. These signature styles now come in a winter version in ivory exclusively for JOYCE.com Another highlight is the wide brim capelin hat from the autumn/winter collection, which is now available in black with white polka dots.
Not doing anything by halves, JOYCE take it to the limit with a fashion video of the collections. You can follow JOYCE Boutique for all their updates on Twitter.
