Last night at Haunch of Venison in London’s West End, Krug, one of the world’s most renowned champagne houses launched the ‘Happiness’ Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts. Celebrities from fashion, music and art including Lady Amanda Harlech, Virginia Bates, Andrew Logan, Nicky Haslam, Alex James and Jasmine Guinness attended the launch of the exhibition taking place from 13th-20th December which hopes to raise funds vital for the Royal Academy Schools.
Krug and the Royal Academy invited celebrity patrons of the arts to ‘create their own version of happiness’ by donating something to the exhibition that embodies happiness to them personally.
Noted contributors such as David Bailey, Vivienne Westwood, Manolo Blahnik, Erdem, Olivier Krug, Sienna Miller and Bella Freud are amongst several luminaries from different creative industries in the worlds of art, fashion, theatre, gastronomy and culture giving something from their private lives. The donation will be accompanied by a quote from each contributor that explains why the piece they chose is the ultimate meaning of happiness to them.
