Agent Provocateur launches Eau Provocateur – A Collection of Day Fragrances

by Katie on February 7, 2012

Last week, raunchy lingerie label and experts in all things sensual, Agent Provocateur, launched a line of three new fragrances at an underground West End club filled with be-stockinged models, champagne and shenanigans. Waitresses with notable tattoos vied with models in the flounciest Agent Provocateur lingerie dished the dirt and Aperol champagne cocktails like it was going out of fashion.
The three new fragrances are based on the existing Agent Provocateur perfumes, capturing the existing ingredients but lightened up suitably for daytime meanderings.  Each new offer is held in the distinctive Agent Provocateur moulded curvy bottle but with a lighter, sharper feel and personality.

The ‘Eau Provocateur’ range is a modern twist on the original AP Eau de Parfum, Maitresse and L’Agent fragrances but these new infusions are concocted for daytime flirtation if not seduction.
Agent Provocateur’s L’Agent ‘Eau Provocateur’ still has a musky baseness and floral deep kick of Magnolia, Tuberose, Jasmine, Freesia and Ylang Ylang but is a softer more powdery pink offering with fruity Bergamot, Mandarin, Melon and Peach lurking in the corner.  This secret ‘L’Agent’ is more likely to woo you in broad daylight with a cocktail over a late lunch rather than tempt you to the confines of a plush, velvet booth in an underground hidey-hole. It is still remarkably feminine in its throes as it coils and drapes the skin like the softest cashmere throw casually worn but never under appreciated.
‘Eau Provocateur’ is, again, a lighter more subtle approach to the hedonism of the original pink encapsulated fragrance. Citrus notes meet red fruit as Muguet and Orange Flower lift and Myrrh, Vanilla and Tonka Bean provide a soft plushness. She may be younger and sparklier but she’s every bit as deadly as her older, more sophisticated sister who’s been around town for a few years.
The Maitresse ‘Eau Provocateur’ green tones meet the delectable base of Amber, Sandalwood, Tonka and gournamde elements and coil around the hear of Rose, Iris and Jasmin Sambac. Maitresse is a Mademoiselle Mistress with aspersions to greatness.

Don’t be coy. It’s up to you which character you are.

Agent Provocateur’s new face, or rather, body, Mylene Jampanoï stars in three short films directed by Jordan Scott and produced by RSA films. To watch the first one, please click HERE.

The new ‘Eau Provocateur’ Collection from Agent Provocateur is available from 15th April 2012 in selected dept stores. The ‘Eau Provocateur’ are each priced at £39 for a 50ml EDT spray.
