Azzaro launches blog: "The Azzaro Times"

Loris Azzaro seemed to breathe the sexiness of the ’70s and the rush of the new in the ’80s into his label. Big hair, flouncy chiffon and an air of Studio 54 and Cap d’Antibes rattled through the collections which are now a distant memory. As a teenager, I longed for this. The closest I got was wearing the now debunked, gloriously yellow, hazy and seductive, Azzaro 9 perfume, inspired by Loris’ native Tunisia. Yes, not the normal choice for a teenager with a Saturday job but there you go….
Thank goodness that the creatives at Azzaro value their heritage enough to honour it with a new bilingual blog that follows the house’s latest collections and events and gives a glimpse into the past.  “Azzaro Times” allows a closer look behind the scenes of both the mens’ and womens’ collections, the latest stars dressed in Azzaro as well as the personal inspirations and influences of Mathilde Castello Branco who now heads the House as artistic director.
Red carpet shots, exclusive images, backstage films and background texts provide a fascinating insight into the glamour of Azzaro and how the house is moving forward.
