Dolce&Gabbana release the Intenseyes Lace Collection

by Katie on June 6, 2012

This month sees the release of the latest Dolce&Gabbana Make-Up and Intenseyes Lace Collection fronted by actress, Monica Bellucci, a regular front woman for Dolce&Gabbana.

Lace is always an integral part and focal point of Dolce&Gabbana’s collections and links to their Sicilian background. And now, lace inspires the Intenseyes collection with it’s hero product, the Black Intensity mascara.
“The intensity of emotion that Monica can convey with a look is remarkable. The story she tells with her eyes is the story that’s in her heart,” says Stefano Gabbana while Domenico Dolce continues, “Why the eyes? The eyes are a channel to the heart and soul.”
Developed in collaboration with the brand’s creative advisor, Pat McGrath, Intenseyes’ inky black volumizing formula offers a multi-dimensional look, with volume and separation that allows lashes to stand out. The long-lasting andsmudge-proof formula is adaptable thanks to a silky, luxuriant texture and flexible polymers.
Pat McGrath has selected the perfect partners to complement the multi-faceted Intenseyes Mascara. Nail lacquers in nude or pale pink will give a manicured finish; Sicilian lace bronzer offers a subtle luminescence and an even tone to the complexion with the lightest sweep across cheekbones and brow; and for the lips, there is a shimmer of lace lipgloss in neutral shades that enhance the natural sensuality of the lips.
With a delicate shiny black lace pattern on a matte background, the Lace Collection and Intenseyes new mascara are items to display and to seduce as they echo the fabric’s importance in Dolce&Gabbana’s work to date.
The Dolce&Gabbana Lace Collection includes: the Black Intensity Mascara (£25);the Intense Nail Lacquer in Perfection (£19.25); the Ultra-Shine Lipgloss in Shimmer (£23); the Glow Bronzing Powder in Desert (£39.50); Mini Brush Collection (£67.50) – all available exclusively at Harrods and www.harrods.com from June 2012.
