Armani’s affordable range of high street separates A|X Armani Exchange, all with the paired back, clean, Armani handwriting will now be available in three more UK locations – Sheffield, Guildford and Cardiff, kicking off on 4th September with the Meadowhall Centre store.
The ongoing retail expansion occurs at the height of a UK double-dip recession so Mr Armani has got to be doing something right with his new set of stores that reflect the brand’s iconic style and design.
Launched in 1991, A|X Armani Exchange is aimed at a new generation of fast-paced fashion consumers – an accessible collection offering urban, individual style. The brand hopes to define a new style of smart yet street-style dressing with a collection that takes its cue from urban sophistication and music culture. Appealing to the young, city-dwelling, fashion-conscious male and female shopper desiring sleek modern design and luxury, the collection includes women’s and menswear, denim and accessories at accessible price points such as £22 for cotton t-shirts to £180 for tailored blazers.
Store design is integral to the Armani brand story. Says Harlan Bratcher, A|X Armani Exchange President and CEO, “The new (store) design is sleek and modern with unlimited flexibility built in to store fixtures, allowing a constant ability to change with our customers’ needs.”
A|X Armani Exchange opens in Guildford (The Friary Shopping Centre) on 6th September and in Cardiff (Bridge Street Arcade) in October 2012.
