Burberry are no strangers to the star studded launch and to celebrate the launch of ‘The Britain’, the new men’s and women’s watch collection, ad campaign stars Gabriella Wilde and Rob Pryor tonight hosted an event at the new Burberry Regent Street flagship in London.
The awe inspiring magnificent new store was filled with the murmur of guests mingling, champagne glasses tinkling and, as it typical of Burberry, a great music soundtrack pre Salford’s gorgeous Ren Harvieu taking the stage for a storming set. Tracks from Harvieu’s recent album had also been featured in the recent Burberry S/S’13 show.
The event was attended by over 400 guests, including British Olympic gold medallist Victoria Pendleton, musician and current Burberry ad campaign star Roo Panes, TV presenter and BBC radio DJ Greg James, actresses Gemma Chan and Olivia Grant and actor Jeremy Piven.
Says Christopher Bailer, Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer, “The Britain represents all that Burberry stands for today as a brand uilt on design, innovation and function. The design is in the detail – all influences from the iconic Burberry trench coat, from the D-rings and trench coloured dials, to these strong bolys that hold the case and protect the movement from the elements. It all comes from this iconic timeless piece of our heritage which is the foundation of the brand.”
