This week jewellery company Chamilia teamed up with UK retail giant Ernest Jones to launch the ‘Wish’ bead to benefit ‘Make-A-Wish’ International.
A slew of celebrities and fashion press attended the flashy launch at London’s Corinthia Hotel to mark the launch and party to the sounds of Model & DJ Joy Vieli with hair-stylist James Brown was on hand to help choose the music.
Celebrity guests at the event included Jaime Winstone and Jo Wood (who both hot footed it to the Nicholas Kirkwood party later), Henry Conway, Nat Weller, Katy B, V.V Brown, Alexandra Burke and “Made in Chelsea’s” Francis Boulle and Amber Atherton.
But the bead was the star of the show, as £12 of every £55 bead sale will go directly to the charity. Made from sterling silver and adorned with electric blue Swarovski crystal elements, funds from the bead’s sales will help to grant wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Chamilia wants to do their part in making even more wishes come true by donating a minimum of £37,500 to Make-A-Wish UK. You can do your part to support this cause by purchasing the bead at your nearest Ernest Jones or H. Samuel store, or buying online at www.ernestjones.co.uk or www.hsamuel.co.uk
