Stella McCartney releases Summer ’13 Ad Campaign

by Katie on February 2, 2013

The British Fashion Council’s Designer of the Year, Stella McCartney, has just released the latest in her ad campaigns.

Featuring model Natalia Vodianove and photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott (boy I’d like to see their bank balance for the number of campaigns they land) and shot in London, the images are play with a re-interpreted ’60s mood meets modern art, all foam backdrop, striking colours and strong shapes.
Styled by the Stella herself, the ads depict Natalia posing in a spearmint green long sleeve jumper and trouser look, a paper white cut out embroidery look and a bright orange organza plisse dress. The ad campaign also introduces the new Bailey Boo handbag in faux python and the floating plexi wedge shoe. While a dedicated eyewear collection campaign now includes the newly launched optical collection available in optical shops worldwide in March.

The campaign breaks in the March issues of titles including Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, W, Elle, V and Interview as well as other international titles in the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Russia and China.
