Twice in one day. That’s my thoughts on the announcements by both Gap and G-Star Raw simultaneously re their ‘face of’ or should that be ‘bum of’ brand choices featuring actors, musicians and ballet stars. It seems that celebrity is still the choice endorsement in the blue world of serge de nimes.
Actors Adam Driver (below) and Dree Hemingway have teamed up with Gap for its new global marketing campaign. ‘Back to Blue’ is launched to celebrate the brand’s heritage and also features new digital content. Photographed by fashion darlings Inez and Vinood, the print campaign debuts in August issues worldwide.
Would either campaign tempt you into buying into the brand or do you buy purely on product design and fit?
