Dolce & Gabbana drip-feed new products into their beauty range constantly so it’s always worth dropping by Harrods to see what new tempting items have come on board. This month it’s a beautifully glam Veil Pressed Powder and a top item for me (to save me from run-of-the-mill pfaffy eyebrow pencil sharpeners that chew up the ever-so-expensive brow leads far too quickly), an Eyebrow Shaping Pencil Liner that’s twist-up. Thank Heavens!
Developed to create a tailor-made shape that enhances the wearer’s natural look, the brow liner offers dual application: thick and thin aspects of the soft tear-shaped nib ensure effortless, balanced precision, a great addition to any beauty kit.
What is it?
It’s a new, slant-sided eyebrow pencil that comes in four very adaptable colours (Soft Brown, Chestnut, Mocha & Stomboli) that should solve the problem of a wicked slant (not rounded) application, an attached brush to soften application and long-lasting formula (lasts for 12 hours) that should banish the trauma of breaking eyebrow lead and smudges (always happens at the last minute as your rushing to get ready) for the foreseeable future.
How do you us it?
Swoop, press and blend to your hearts delight. The slanted application is sharp and defined with a creamy application. Use the attached brush or your good ol’ fingers to make a more subtle shade.
What are its benefits?
Presented in a mechanical pencil format that twists up fresh colour when needed, the pencil doesn’t require sharpening (yay!) and provides consistent, even colour with every application. Once applied, the long-lasting colour remains in place for up to 12 hours thanks to its water- and smudge-resistant formula. A spiral grooming brush sits at the opposite end of the pencil, further allowing for blending brow colour and grooming hairs for the perfectly balanced brow.
How much does it cost?
The brow pencil is priced £32.50 and available now exclusively at Harrods and www.harrods.com
