ASOS x Jackie – An inspired collaboration between ASOS and Reclaimed Vintage, perfectly capturing the current Seventies mood in fashion. What do you mean you don’t remember Jackie magazine?

Bloom cocktails at One Aldwych – So far, I haven’t yet to meet anyone who doesn’t love hanging out at the superior One Aldwych hotel. The bar, set with its long corner view, offers floor to ceiling views of the corner of Aldwych and The Strand. And, if you’re a gin drinker, there’s even more reason to head there as the Lobby Bar and BLOOM Gin have partnered to create four limited edition cocktails: Lavender Cloud, Blooming Tea, Smoked Flower & Almond Bouquet. Blooming marvellous! Priced at £13.50 each, the limited edition cocktail menu will be available until 14th July 2015.

The Miu Miu fragrance – The long-awaited debut fragrance from Prada’s stylish little sister, courtesy of beauty behemoth Coty, launches this September. As they say, WATCH THIS SPACE.

The NET SET – Net-a-Porter shake up online fashion retail yet again after unveiling their new social shopping network.

Shamir Bailey – The colourful 20 year-old singer, songwriter and saviour of pop music releases his debut album on XL Recordings this week. We’ll give 10 points to the first designer using it at the upcoming #LCM shows.

Orlebar Brown x Emilio Pucci – The upmarket beachwear brand team up with the Italian masters of print for a twenty-piece collection for men and women.

White trainers – EVERYWHERE. Good luck keeping those Air Max 90 Ice Whites box fresh at the festivals this summer.

The Browns/Farfetch buyout – Another symbol of our youth is swallowed up by big business. Hopefully this won’t be the end of the legendary awesome Mrs B.

Cannes – Models, noted thespian Cheryl Wotserface-Versace, more models, and the occasional Kardashian. Has anyone mentioned the movies yet?

Lindsay Lohan – The erratic actress and final nail in Ungaro’s coffin has teased her return to the fashion industry after tweeting photos of an upcoming project with ecommerce site Lavish Alice. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Soho Farmhouse – Smug media clusterfeck decamps to the Cotswolds. No doubt the sycophantic style mags will be shilling barn dances and gingham this summer.  Ho-down.

French Connection – Proving most people’s memories are no longer than their Instagram feeds, the crass FCUK sloganeering which destroyed the high street name in the early Noughties gets a revival. And…a whole new generation of teenagers will think they’re being droll.

Olivier Rousteing for Balmain x H&M – And BREATHE everyone. A bit of perspective here. Balmain’s brand is currently riding high thanks to Kimye and the distinctly ‘anti-fashion’ trend of sexy dressing. But, that could all change after the inevitable dumbing down and high-street quality of another H&M collection. Remember the disappointing execution of the Lanvin collaboration (now found on Ebay)? Or the unfathomable Marni menswear misstep? It’ll be a sell-out for both of the parties concerned – and watch that Balmain stock plummet with its dubious celebrity clients.

‘The Devil Wears Prada’: The Musical – Congratulations to everyone concerned for turning Laura Weisberger’s inane pulp fiction into one of the most memorable fashion films ever, thanks to a delicious turn from Meryl Streep as the ice-cold Miranda Priestly, but the thought of a musical version makes us think that Broadway, like Hollywood, is creatively running on empty. We think it’ll appeal to ‘Abba – The Musical’ fans. Enough said.
