I once had a taste of the jet set lifestyle when I was zipping between Munich, Paris and Northern Italy from London every other week to see friends and generally tear it up across Europe like a more sophisticated, Eurochic-savvy-pre-Made-in-Chelsea type. Alas, those days are gone but I’d sure welcome their return which is why, when I saw this offer from The Bauers, Venice (surely one of my most favourite cities on the planet), I itched to book right away.
The BAUERs, Venice (read: an extremely glam, extremely chic hotel located next to Piazza San Marco) is offering their Red Carpet Experience in light of the upcoming Venice Film Festival 2015. From 2nd until 12th September, Venice will be transformed into a star-studded city of canals and lights, as the world’s most famous actors, producers and directors head to the UNESCO world heritage site for the 72nd Annual Venice Film Festival.
The BAUERs truly indulgent cinematic experience promises to whisk away film fanatics from The BAUERs Il Palazzo located on Venice’s San Marco and transport them across the lagoon by private water taxi to the Film Festival’s glitz and glamour on Venice Lido. Mingling amongst the stars, guests will make their way down the iconic ritzy red carpet before taking their seats at a screening of their choice.
Following the exclusive Film Festival screening, a private water taxi will then take guests back across the Venetian Lagoon for dinner at De Pisis restaurant whilst seated on the heavenly terrace, overlooking the architectural splendour of Venice from across the Grand Canal. The Red Carpet Experience concludes with a night in a Deluxe Room at the iconic five-star hotel, BAUERs Il Palazzo.
If you fancy THE BAUERs Red Carpet Experience, it’s yours from €545 per person, based on 2 people sharing 1 Deluxe Room at The BAUERs Il Palazzo for 1 night. The package includes transport to and from the hotel to the film festival, tickets to a film premier of the guests’ choice (subject to availability) as well as dinner at De Pisis Restaurant.
It may not be a full-on film premiere but if you want to impress a girl on a date. this is how to do it.
