I’d forgotten how much I loved this fragrance. Its beautiful creamy dreamy soft subtlety with a slight glistening sheen that no amount of glamorous Charlize Theron legs in Dior perfume ads could ever properly convey.
Dior’s J’Adore is probably one of modern fragrances most underrated in terms of sophistication, delivery and make-up. Perfumer-Creator, Francois Demachy combines the mix of feminine with just enough sexy flounce perfectly in a perfume that contains heaps of hedonistic Jasmin Sambac, Turkish Rose Damascene, Sandalwood and rare Ambrette extracted from Hibiscus seeds. The sum is greater than the parts in its glorious dry warmth and sensuality. Like the texture of smooth warm skin freshly oiled.
Dior’s J’Adore takes this further by now being available in a new dry oil texture that glides on wrists and pulse points sinking into skin to release its overwhelming sleek beauty. Now available in J’Adore Eau de Parfum (simply too good not to try), Eau de Toilette, L’Or, L’Absolu or Voile de Parfum, this new perfume experience combining a slick of oil in perfume format holds just the right balance. The capillary system ensures you can go light or bolder for a bigger statement. Done deal? Yup, indeed. Or go in for full devastation by applying and pairing with the J’Adore fragrance of your choice, creating a more personal trail of your own enigma.
A beautiful new addition released just in time for Christmas wish lists.
J’Adore Touche de Parfum is £70 for 20ml.
