Chutzpah’s Weekly Barometer

by Katie on April 5, 2010

A light hearted look back over the past week’s good, bad and indifferent including the “don’t even go there’s”.

Carluccios I know it can be hell in terms of noise but the food is luscious.

Dr Who and his assistant Young Matt’s super cool with great hair and a Scottish red head assistant. Not before time.

Fenwicks, Bond Street exterior signage while there’s building works Puns like, “There may be rubble ahead…” are inspired.

Bank Holidays in London Fabulous. The city empties and you can actually move around, get parking spaces and shop nicely. Can we just depopulate the Capital by around 2 million, thanks?

Professor Brian Cox Three words: Hot. Physics. Professor.

Those monstrous, ugly, fat tyred 3 wheeled baby buggies Unnecessary. Try having two of them on a bus at once and I’ll place bets on how many feet are squashed and tights are laddered by them. Really hate.

Strega No matter how often he gets me to try it, it still tastes like Listerine.

Celebrity ‘mememe’ tweets When on a family holiday, leave the phone at home. We know you’re famous and ma’ and pa’ are too. You’re just not that interesting.

The hideous mess of roadworks at Tottenham Court Road So ugly, congesting and badly thought out, especially for tourists. And, it’s not all Cross Rail. There were notices speaking of sewage maintenance works etc. Nice, with it being bang on centre of the Capital.

Cheryl love, are you or are you not getting back with Ashley? Get on with it and get off the front pages. There’s an election happening.
